TRANSFORMING STAGE FRIGHT

Many presenters, lecturers, facilitators, trainers and performers experience emotions of anxiety and fear before appearing before an audience. This is called stage fright and people experience this to varying degrees. These emotions are a product of self-doubt. Often when we are in doubt, we are afraid that we will lose something valuable or have to give it up, or we are trying to figure out what another person wants so that we can please him or her and thereby get a reward. That reward, in this case, is confirmation of a job well done.
This leads us to inadvertently allowing others person to exert power over us—just by the mere fact of our anxiety. Doubt causes us to lose our power.
I’ve created an imagery exercise which will help you claim your inner power back and be strong and open towards your audience. As always it’s for free. All you are required to do is enter your name and email. You won’t be bombarded with spam messages and your email is never shared with anyone.
